Winter Programs 2010

March 6th, 2010
Angels on Stage presents “The Jungle Book”
Pick up 9 am Drop off 5 pm
Angels on Stage is an organization in San Jose that provides the opportunity
for people with disabilities to participate in music and acting. We’ll be
seeing their presentation of “The Jungle Book”, and if we watch carefully,
we may even see some people we know on stage!

March 20th, 2010
Tour of Jack London Square and a Movie
Pick up 9 am Drop off 5 pm
Join us for an afternoon of shopping, walking and taking in a show. There
will pizza and drinks provided for lunch and we’ll decide on the movie
together

March 27th – 31st, 2010
Spring Travel Camp- Disneyland
Pick up 9 am    Drop off 5pm
Come and camp with us at Newport Dunes Campgrounds, just 30 minutes from Mickey and friends. We’ll spend time at the parks and also hanging out at the campgrounds.

April 10, 2010
Fishing SF Pier
Pick up 8 am    Drop off 4 pm
Join us for a day of fishing and crabbing. We’ll bring the gear and bait, you bring a coat and lunch. Or maybe we’ll catch some!!!
 

April 17, 2010
Oakland A’s vs Orioles
Pick up 10 am    Drop off 6 pm
Take me out to the ball game! Pack a lunch or bring money to buy lunch as we cheer on the A’s.

April 24-25, 2010
Overnight at Camp Krem
Pick up 9 am    Drop off 5 pm
Come enjoy camp in the springtime! There will be hikes, dances, music, arts and crafts and a farewell party for Amelia

April 30-May 2, 2010
River Rafting
Pick up 9am    Drop off 7 pm
We’re heading out to southern California to go rafting on the Kern River with our friends at Leaps...n...Boundz. We’ll participate with other families with children who have special needs camping, rafting, hiking, and enjoying the evening program.

Bus Schedule: Pick-up & Return
SAN JOSE: Take the Camden Road exit off Rte 880. Pick up is at the
Jack In the Box just after you get off the exit. May Not Be Available For
All Trips

EMERYVILLE: Take the Powell Street Exit off of I-80. Turn Left on
Christie. Turn right on Shellmound Way. Look to the left, you will see
Border’s Bookstore. We meet in the parking lot across from Borders.
Pick up and drop off times will be confirmed upon camper’s
acceptance on the trip. Acceptance will be determined the
Wednesday prior to trip date. We will wait 15 minutes past the pick
up time. If you are going to be late or if you need to cancel, please
call Gail at 510-222-6662. No call/ no show will be charged a $50
fee.
