Dear Campers, Families and Friends, Camping Unlimited is a nonprofit organization. To continue our good works we welcome donations. You can mail your donation to Camping Unlimited, 4610 Whitesands Ct., El Sobrante, CA 94803. Donations are accepted for Summer Camp, Memorials, Special Projects, Camperships, and Counselor's Association. You can give a general donation or contact the camp office for specific needs. Check out our online Wish List. Camping Unlimited was organized in 1957 and became a nonprofit in 1961. The history section has more information. Adopt a Cabin------In order to maintain our cabins at Camp Krem, we are offering people the chance to adopt a cabin for a year. Cabins are the hub of camp activities, this is where campers set up "home" for the session and plan many of their activities. Some of the campers return year after year and insist on the same cabin. The cabin are packed with memories for both staff and campers. We need your help to continue to create these happy memories with the maintenance of our cabins. There are three options available. Call or e-mail us. THANK YOU, HARTS!!! Since the early days of Camping Unlimited, we have been very fortunate to have had enormous support for a very special organization called HARTS. When the HARTS learned of the special work of Alex Krem, our founder, they began their support of the activities, including camping and social events, for children with developmental disabilities. They loved Alex's philosophy, sense of humor and devotion to these special children. Knowing that this enormously intelligent man, with the twinkle in his eye, could direct a successful camping program and help so many individuals, they helped with funding Camping Unlimited's beginning, providing much needed funds becoming one of our biggest supporters. They set their sights high and held even more fund raisers and events, contributing the proceeds to all phases of development of the organization. They even donated our Camping Unlimited bus. Their dedication and hard work have greatly benefited us in so many ways. We THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! VOLUNTEERS, WE WANT YOU. WE REALLY WANT YOU…We are actively recruiting new Volunteer Counselors age 15+ to help with the new trips we have planned for the year around program. If you really want to have fun and meet people while learning important skills, why not volunteer on a special one-day outing? You're going to love it!
