HARTS was founded in 1958 as a fundraising organization to support Camping Unlimited. Over the years our fundraising events have included dances, luncheons, golf tournaments and rummage sales. In 2005, we kicked off an Annual Casino Night as one of the primary fundraisers of the year. We have also hosted Super Bowl Pools, A’s Game Nights, Shop Till Ya’ Drop trips to Gilroy Outlet Mall, and Napa Wine Trips, all the work of a small group of women (approximately fifteen today) who meet monthly to develop new fundraising ideas and make them happen! One of our founding members, Nora Davidson, remains actively engaged in the work we do. At the spry age of 92 she is an inspriation to us all.

In years past our efforts have helped fund a wheelchair ramp, new mattresses for the cabins and make general repairs. We try to raise at least $10,000 each year to put towards such camp projects.
