Camping Unlimited Programs
We offer two schedules of programs; a Year-Round schedule, composed primarily of day-trips with occasional multi-day outings, and a Summer schedule of camping sessions in our camp facility in the Santa Cruz mountains. The Year-Round Schedule runs from mid August through the end of April with the Summer Schedule running from early June through mid August.
Year-Round Programs
Year-Round activities include camping and backpacking trips to various state and community parks to explore nature from the beach to the snowy mountain country. We also schedule various kinds of outings, to museums and cultural fairs, and to film, theatrical or sporting events. There is even an occasional fishing trip and of course we make time for special weekend visits to our camp facility.
Fees for 1 to 3 day trips are approximately $100 per day with basic supervision and about $120 per day for one-on-one supervision. Our current Year-Round Program and Fee Schedule, included in the Camper application, provides all the detailed information you will need.
Summer Programs
Our main camp offers a traditional camp program with small groups of campers sharing a cabin with their Counselors. General supervision ratio is three campers to one counselor with one-to-one supervision available as required at extra cost. Most meals are served family-style in our dining hall. Campers are free to choose activities that interest them from a selection of fun and interesting things to do such as swimming, hiking, talent shows, dance, music, games, campfires, nature study, arts and crafts, and ceramics. We also offer playground activities like kickball, soccer, baseball, basketball and bocce ball. In addition, able-bodied campers who are more independent and can be managed at a four to one supervision ratio, have access to Outdoor Camp in camp sites around the main complex or Travel Camp where they go on the road to places further afield to see and do interesting things.
Fees for seven to twelve day Summer sessions are approximately $140 per day. Our current Summer Program and Fee Schedule, included in the Camper application, provides all the detailed information you will need.
Camper Application and Medical Forms
Camper Applications must be submitted by applicants and confirmed in writing by Camping Unlimited before acceptance into programs. Medical Forms must be submitted prior to programs, after the Confirmation has been received.
Please note that Camper applications may be filled out electronically and then either emailed or printed. Medical forms however may only be partially filled out and then printed to be completed by a physician. Both require use of the free Acrobat Reader, available at get.adobe.com/reader/.
