Thursday, January 3–Tuesday, January 8-Mexican Cruise
Pick up Thursday, Noon Drop off Tuesday, 5 p.m.
We’ll be cruising the Pacific from Long Beach to Ensenada, aboard Carnival Cruises Paradise ship. We’ll spend the day shopping and sight-seeing in Ensenada and then start the trip back home.

Saturday, January 19-Harlem Globetrotters
Pick up-10 a.m. Drop off-5 p.m.
Come with us to meet the Harlem Globetrotters and enjoy the spectacular entertainment they provide.

Friday, January 25-Sunday, January 27
3 Day Snow Trip
Pick up Friday 9 a.m. Drop off Sunday 5 p.m.
Come along with us for a fun-filled weekend, playing in the snow of the Sierra foothills. We’ll go snow-shoeing, sliding and build snow forts, so get your hats and mittens out and have some fun.

Saturday, February 2-San Jose Children’s
Discovery Museum
Pick up-10 a.m. Drop off 5 p.m.
This is a hands-on museum, with exhibits about gardens, the post office, waterways and pizza making, to name a few.

Saturday, February 9-Jelly Belly Factory
Pick up-10 a.m. Drop off 5 p.m.
Come along with us to sample and see how these wonderful, sweet treats are made. Bring along some spending money for the Gift Shop!

Saturday, February 23-Sunday, February 24-Winter Overnight at Camp Krem
Pick up Saturday 10 a.m. Drop off Sunday 5 p.m.
Visit the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, sample the Chowder being served at the Santa Cruz Chowder Festival and then return to camp for a nice warm campfire in the mess hall.

Saturday, March 1-Bowling
Pick up-10:00 a.m. Drop off-5:00 p.m.
Strike out with us for a day of fun bowling and eating pizza. No sack lunch needed today.

Saturday, March 8-Tilden Park
Pick up-10:00 a.m. Drop off-5:00 p.m.
The jewel of the East Bay Regional Parks, we’ll spend the day riding the old fashioned steam train, the carousel and hiking the trails.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Year Round Program

1. How do I sign up a camper for a trip? Once you have picked out what trips you want your camper to be a part of, please call our main office. Your camper will then be put on a "wait list".

2. If I sign up a camper, will they automatically go on the trip? No. Please do not assume that there will be space for your camper on a trip. You will receive a confirmation call the week of the trip, if there is space available. At times there is not enough volunteer staff to adequately support the number of campers.

3. If space is limited, how is it decided which campers will go on a trip? Typically, selection is first-come, first serve. We also have to factor in the number of volunteers and the needs of the camper (i.e. 1:1 support) However for our weekend trips (which are very popular), we try to give everyone who has signed up for a weekend trip a chance to go on a weekend trip. For example, if there is not enough space for a camper on a Halloween weekend trip, we try to see if the camper can come back for our Thanksgiving or Holiday weekend trip instead. There are also times due to limited tickets for an event that we utilize a lottery. In all circumstances, we try to be as fair as we possibly can so that a variety of campers get an opportunity to go on a trip. Are trips cancelled? We try our best to avoid canceling a trip. However, there are times when a trip has been cancelled due to lack of volunteers or another circumstances beyond our control (i.e. vehicle breakdown). We try to notify you as soon as we make a decision to cancel a trip.
